About Angus Golf Tours

Our aim at Angus Golf Tours is to encourage both high and low handicap golfers of all ages to be as good as they can be and to cater for total beginners. Although this could be a challenge too far we aim to try.

We have many years experience of playing golf in this beautiful part of Scotland. A greater variety of links and parkland courses in one small area is difficult to imagine. Over the years we have played competitive golf on all of the courses mentioned, know most of the Club Professionals and know where to get the best food! Every course, links or parkland, has its own individual character and beauty and without exception every Professional is helpful and courteous.

Realistically every beginner won’t get the golfing ‘bug’ but if we can get a few who do that would be great. Joining a golf club, getting a handicap and then reaping the benefits of meeting great people, playing in competitions or just generally having fun – it can be life changing.

Like any other sport golf is a way of life –drives you mad when everything is going wrong but sends you to the dizzy heights when everything is going well. What can be more exhilarating than hitting a drive as far as you possibly can or holing a 10 foot putt when it really matters- nothing my friends, absolutely nothing.
